2020 ATE Principal Investigators Conference
Traditionally, every fall the National Science Foundation ATE (Advance Technological Education) grantees gather at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. to attend the Principal Investigators (PIs) conference. However, this year, due to Covid-19, the 27th National ATE PIs Conference will be hosted October 19-23 as a virtual event. That’s right, all online! As a result, the PIs and their staff all have an opportunity to attend and participate. There will be live keynotes and panels, plus pre-recorded breakout sessions and ongoing collaborations and connections throughout the week via Slack.
The National Convergence Technology Center and IT Skill Standards 2020 and Beyond will be presenting a 90-second featured video (CTC video, ITSS video) about their grant along with other ATE grantees.
Participants of the ATE projects that attend this conference represent community colleges, business and industry, secondary school systems, and 4-year colleges covering projects in areas, such as information technology, engineering technology, micro- and nanotechnologies, chemical technology, biotechnology, and others.
