PHOTOS: Summer Working Connections South 2014
Summer Working Connections South was held at the Advanced Technology Center on the campus of Florida State College at Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. Day one, attendees dived right into hands-on labs and training in one of the three tracks offered: Citrix, VMWare vSphere 5.5 and Advanced Network Analysis, Troubleshooting and Security (Wireshark). There was also a concurrent track for Cisco Academy instructors to share and discuss different topics related to teaching Cisco. Everyone was very enthusiastic to be there and we would like to thank the staff at FSCJ who organized and hosted the event. It was a great week filled with lots of learning, sharing and technology!
Here are just a few of the great things attendees had to say about this event!
“This is an awesome, outstanding, learning opportunity. I’m compelled to take advantage of this event to extend my knowledge in the various areas of Information Technology. My 2 visits to Florida State College have exceeded my expectations. My trainers (last year/Dr. Eaton, this year Dr. Timur) have an immense amount of knowledge in their respective subject areas”
“Excellent program. It is a full time job trying to stay up to date with all of the changes in the IT world. This helps greatly. It helps me provide, better, up to date information for my students.”
“Great program and training. A definite asset for improving my skills and teaching.”
“I’m extremely impressed at the opportunities provided during this program at Florida State Jacksonville. This was a well organized program.”
“The instructor had a lot of industry/hands-on experience with virtualization and cloud computing. The insights he provided in addition to the class objectives was extremely helpful”
