Game Changing Technologies
The National Convergence Technology Center has been very fortunate to work closely with the nonprofit organization North Central Texas InterLink. InterLink brings together business, education and government to help develop the regional workforce. They provide information on job forecasting and future occupation demands and help determine the skills that employees will need to meet those demands.
Candy Slocum, the Executive Director for InterLink, recently spoke at Collin College regarding future technologies that will significantly impact the students who will be graduating as they seek employment in their chosen fields. Some of those technologies include robotics, nanotechnology, convergence and IT, Internet of Things and sensors, analytics, 3D printing, drones and energy.
It was a fascinating presentation, and we are fortunate to be able to share it with you. Just click the link, or view the video below!
