PHOTOS: HI-TEC 2013 Conference
It’s been a busy few weeks for the National CTC staff and partners, with the Working Connections Texas and South events, and attending the HI-TEC 2013 conference last week in Austin, Texas. We all had a great time at the HI-TEC conference, attended a lot of great presentations and even got a private tour of the Dell facilities in Round Rock (thanks Glenn!). Here are some photos from the week. If you weren’t able to attend the conference, you can watch some of the live recorded presentations on the HI-TEC website at www.highimpact-tec.org.

Dell Pop Up Data Center
The pop-up data center was really neat. Takes a fraction of the time to setup than a traditional data center and can be placed anywhere with electrical and water hookups (it uses evaporative cooling rather than the traditional HVAC setup) Could you imagine driving past a corn field and seeing one of these guys just set up out there in the middle of it?! Pretty awesome stuff!
