Watch lunch presentations from Summer Working Connections
The National Convergence Technology Center’s (CTC) annual Summer Working Connections event welcomes faculty from across the country for a deep dive into a specific IT track with the goal of immediately implementing what they’ve learned in the classroom. But aside from the usual 9am-5pm track lectures and labs, Working Connections also hosts short lunch presentations on a variety of special topics.
All of these presentations are now posted (with captions!) on the CTC’s YouTube channel so others might benefit from these guest speakers’ expertise. Recordings offer a great way to repurpose event content for expanded reach and impact beyond those attending “live” in the room.
Below are the lunch presentations from this past July.
* Joey Bryant from Forsyth Technical Community College showcased her program’s successful inter-disciplinary capstone program. Watch the recording here.
* George Gabb from Miami Dade College provided an overview of current and future trends in AI. Watch the recording here.
* Chris Huryn from Splunk gave an overview of the Splunk product and demonstrated ways it can help faculty manage classroom work. Watch the recording here.
* Eric Renegar from Sinclair Community College discussed how his college developed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Watch the recording here.
