The National Science Foundation’s Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program endeavors to strengthen the skills of technicians, whose work is vitally important to the nation’s prosperity and security. Throughout this site you will find evidence of the good work community colleges are leading to prepare the new American workforce.

We invite you to browse this site, see what the ATE program is all about, and what it has to offer. Centers are divided by technology; the ATE program is currently funding centers in eight major technology areas.

Inside you will find a brief description of the centers, details about their impact on students and the workforce, as well as contact information if you’re interested in connecting with them directly.

The website connectedtech.org/ate is designed as a companion piece to the ATE Impact 2016-2017 publication; click here if you would like to request copies of the publication or if you would like to download a PDF version.
